Who Is Tricia Byrnes? Fighting for SD10 Families.
Not Special Interests.

Tricia Byrnes and Josh Hawley at a new conference for RECA

From Wentzville, Troy, Moscow Mills, Holts Summit, Fulton, Bowling Green and rural communities across Callaway, Montgomery, Lincoln, and Pike.

I fight for property tax relief, government accountability, health and mental health care, utility costs, education, public safety, data center transparency and putting families first.

While those issues may seem different, they are connected by one simple belief: Government should work for Missouri families—not powerful special interests.

Tricia Byrnes Leads RECA Victory for Missouri Families

During the 2026 State of the State speech, Governor Mike Kehoe recognized Rep. Byrnes for work with Sen. Josh Hawley and President Donald Trump to add Missouri to the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).

Signed by President Donal Trump in July 4, 2025, this victory brings justice after nearly 80 years of nuclear bomb waste contamination in Coldwater Creek and Weldon Spring.

“I’m just glad after nearly 80 years these Missouri families finally have some justice from our Federal Government. Now we can continue to hold D.C. accountable for damages in Missouri because of the Manhattan Project Nuclear Bomb created during WWII.”

Motivated by her son’s rare cancer diagnosis at fifteen, she founded Chasing Answers and a coalition built. As she travels SD10, she is finding survivors and families outside RECA zones that aren't exposed to St. Louis media and don't realize they are their deceased families member who once lived, worked, or went to school in covered St. Charles or North County zip codes and later developed or died from a RECA covered cancer. Already, while on the campaign trail she has discovered many families in Lincoln, Montgomery and Pike are elgable for up to $50 thousand dollars tax free from our federal government.

This fight shows government should work for Missouri families — not powerful special interests.

LEADERSHIP FOR THE FUTURE OF MISSOURIANS

Career lobbyists want to control Jefferson City.

Tricia Byrnes has spent her time in the legislature doing the opposite — fighting for taxpayers, defending conservative values, and winning when government failed. Now she’s ready to take that fight to the Missouri Senate.

"Missouri doesn't need a lobbyist writing laws. We need someone willing to stand up to them. Tricia will."

- Danelle Uebinger, Auxvasse, MO

"True service means listening to the voices that have been ignored for far too long."
- Tricia Byrnes

 REFORM IS NEEDED

Cut Property Tax

Strengthening our middle class by cutting taxes for working families and stop charging rent on our cars. End state control of taxation on our homes.

Lower Energy Costs

Create energy policy that puts rate payers first and does not force costly subsidize on Missouri families. Families should not have bills skyrocetting.

Reform Education

Focus on restoring fundamentals - reading, writing and teacher led instruction not computer screens. Strengthen parental controls.

Community Safety

Support law enforcement, enforce laws on our roads, and invest in solutions to mental health and addiction that improve community safety.
